Never Mind Your Music - Start Reaching People!

Ever had the feeling that maybe, just maybe – the music you’ve written recorded, produced, published and released – somehow, isn’t turning out quite the way you’d hoped – and now, you’re starting to get all kinds of dark, negative thoughts about whether you’re ever going to make it in the music industry?

Okay – first off – stop beating yourself up. The reason you’re not having the success you’ve been dreaming about – may have very little to do with how well your songs are strung together – and the commercial potential of your finished masters (whatever that means).

So, before you go rushing back to rewrite, remix and re-record – in the hope of fixing the problem – you may want to consider that the answer is much more fundamental – and has been staring you in the face all the time.

The reason you’re not having success is because you’re not reaching enough people. You can have the greatest recorded master embodying the greatest written song – but if only two hundred and seventeen people ever get to hear it – it’s not going to help you. The point is – if people like you, and like your style – they’re follow you no matter what – but they have to know you exist. Nothing wrong in seeking perfection in your work by the way – it’s what most of us love and should do – but not to the detriment of the greater plan.

The moment you start focusing on reaching people in large numbers – real people, things start to happen. Actually, in my book, this holds good on anything you choose – songwriting, producing, managing, releasing records and music publishing.

Once you realize this – creating, marketing and promotion become a lot easier – even fun. Imagine, for example, how to get one to seven million plus followers around any artist or product. And that’s just for starters. Building your strategy around people – is definitely the way to go! MusicDomination.com focuses on how to accomplish this.
