540Hz Tuning Can Heal

The Healing 540Hz Frequency

A Guide for Musicians to Heal the World

Let’s go into the Land of Woo, shall we?  Close your eyes, sit back, and open your mind’s eye, and let’s take a look at that 540Hz tuning.  Can it heal the world, or perhaps heal the human body, mind, and or spirit?

Music is a great form of entertainment, especially for the masses in creating harmony and community.  It also is great at lifting spirits and enhancing mood and brain wave activity.  It’s great for enhancing workouts too if you’re fit enough to push it to the limit.  But is all music really created equal?  Can tuning instruments to different frequencies influence us and the world around us?

On an interesting note, I remember, as a young man, watching a documentary on a bunch of criminally delinquent youths on a yacht where they were being rehabilitated.  At one point, during an emotional therapy session after a fight broke out on deck, one youth confessed to the fact that whenever he listened to rock music, he had an immense urge for violence, robbery, stealing, and starting fights.

With that said, much of the music we listen to today is tuned to 440Hz, so-called, the standard pitch for concert tuning.  Some say that this was not always the case and that this tuning is not harmonious or natural.

"...can we collectively connect our hearts and minds in unity to create a more peaceful world?"

Don’t hold me to it but, as I understand it, the first tuning fork was invented by John Shore back in 1711 breaking the tradition of using wooden pitch pipes that were notoriously fickle in accuracy, given weather and environmental conditions.  This invention and many other derivations, by several other inventors, would have doubly led to the standardization and law passed in France in 1859 whereby setting the A4 tuning at 435Hz.

How about that 440Hz tuning conspiracy, eh?  As one theory goes… the A4 tuning at 440Hz was the flavor once used for mass mind control and propaganda supplementation by Joseph Goebbels in the 1930s during the reign of the Third Reich, a mathematical system creating heavy tension and disharmony among the German populace.

Another one is that the Rockefeller Foundation in 1955 set the benchmark of 440Hz as a standard and one, Dr. Leonard Horowitz, wrote about the imposition of the 440Hz frequency in a paper entitled ‘Musical Cult Control’ where the ‘herding’ of the population into psycho-social agitation, aggression, and some real crazy emotional distress would predispose the masses to a heightened level of physical illness.  Sounds like a real party!

I guess that some of those ‘researchers’ or ‘conspiracy theorists’ were correct in finding that the 440Hz tuning can cause anxiety, aggression, dissonance, and stress upon listeners and affect their overall health and well-being.

It’s scary to think that music can be a powerful tool when manipulated at the hands of the malevolent or benevolent.

But, on the other hand, there is another side to this Land of Woo.  The healing and aligning of frequencies with nature.  This one is called the 540Hz tuning.  Some say that it is based on an ancient set of nine Solfeggio frequencies used in sacred music or practices in the healing arts.

Set in six tones that supposedly align with the six chakras or ‘main energy centers’ within the human body, they are patterned from a mathematical algorithm known as the golden ratio, aka, Fibonacci sequence.  Some say it is the same structure as DNA.

Those who believe in the Solfeggio frequency of 540Hz say that it is well associated with the heart chakra known as the center for harmony, love, and compassion.  They also say that 540Hz is the same frequency as the Earth along with its natural vibration.

Well, if this has any weight to it, then by tuning our instruments or music to 540Hz, can we collectively connect our hearts and minds in unity to create a more peaceful world?

"Maybe by expressing our true selves through the 540Hz frequency in music, we can heal the world."

Maybe so.  But the benefits of playing or listening to music tuned to a 540Hz frequency have some interesting notable benefits as some would say.

Check it out,

  • Concerning the heart chakra, it can heal, promote self-love, and improve overall emotional well-being.
  • Enhance the immune system whereby helping the body fight off infections and diseases.
  • It can also help induce a state of calmness and relaxation thereby reducing anxiety, stress, and depression.
  • Intuition, inspiration, and creativity are heightened by the frequency within the right hemisphere of the brain.
  • Along with the Earth’s energy field, the human body can harmonize creating a more positive influence on the collective consciousness and the environment.

How about that for some Woo?

If there is any weight to any of this 540Hz frequency thingy, then we as musicians have the opportunity to use our creative forces to bring immense good into the world.  If we all can tune to 540Hz we can create healing music for ourselves, our listeners, and the world.  It can be a revolution, inspiring musicians around the world to spread a harmonic message through our music for love and harmony.

If you think this is a good idea, then you can start today by tuning your instruments to 540Hz. Do live performances and see what reactions follow as opposed to what your normal audience response would be.

Tune your instrument using a digital tuner that allows you to adjust your pitch, use a tuning fork or frequency generator.  If you get stumped, check out YouTube tutorials to walk you through the setups.  Once you get all nailed down you can experiment with different chords, scales, and melodies and go on to discover a whole new powerful world within the 540Hz tuning.

The universal language of music transcends all borders, and cultures, and is a gift that as musicians, we can share with the world.  Maybe by expressing our true selves through the 540Hz frequency in music, we can heal the world.
